– Full page color ads for Murad Cigarettes (Autumn golfing scene), Vanity Fair magazine (cover of October 1917 issue, art by Raymond Crawford Ewer (I think)), Chase Plush Motor Car Robes (nice art).
– Half page ad for W. L. Douglas shoes with art pertaining to his move to Black Hawk, Colorado.
– Full page black and white ads for Waltham watches (art pertaining to use of Waltham clocks in the Waterloo Railroad Station in London), Mimeograph (with photo of office scene), Locomobile, Frankin enclosed cars (art by Laurence Fellows), Doubleday, Page and Company (with art by DeAlton Valentine).
– Full page art or cartoon art by Ellison Hoover (two pages, “The worms will turn,” the populace is angry that congress has delayed the war effort … I think!), Charles Dana Gibson (His turn to chop, Uncle Sam chopping down the German war tree), Charles Dana Gibson (He meant well), Charles Forbell (if the speed laws were strictly enforced)
– Two page centerspread art by Paul Stahr, “The Gamblers, two of a kind,” diamond, heart, club, spade.
