Cover : Hot air balloon with a puncture that is spewing words, “Perils of ballooning : Great Scott, we are punctured by a wireless,” art by A. B. Walker.
– Full page art or cartoon art by Harrison Cady (The original Thanksgiving Day in old Plymouth), Unsigned (it was foolish of us to have such an expensive wedding).
– On the lee shore, by Broughton Brandenburg, this is a three page “story” that is actually an advertisement or Prudential Insurance, very unusual Life content.
– Two page centerspread art by Raymond Moreau Crosby, “Epithalamium : line to a young lady on her wedding day,” father writing a check.
– Some current events include : Colorado river was tapped for irrigation purposes but last year’s flood carried away the headgate of the irrigation canal and the whole volume of water poured into the Salton Sink making a lake several hundred square miles of surface, just now dammed and turned back into its course.
– And many more smaller artworks, cartoon art, and ads … a very entertaining vintage publication.
