– “The Court of Appeals of Kansas has discovered, that owing to a defect in the title of a statute passed in 1871, most of the divorces granted in Kansas during the last twenty-five years are no good. Report says that Kansas folks who have been divorced and married again are a good deal embarrassed by this discovery, and are speculating with anxiety and dismay about their status in respectable society and the legitimacy of their children.”
