– Charming half page artwork by Raymond Crosby of three people in a canoe, “Balance of Powers,” a young man is in the middle, the canoe is greatly tipped toward the slender young woman in one end while the portly mamma in the other end is raised up in the air.
– Full page black and white ad for El Principe de Gales (Fine Havana cigars, with art of crowd at horse race, signature illegible).
– Full page art or cartoon art by Anthony H. Euwer (What the new sensation syndicate might do when Coney Island ceases to attract : pour Niagara down Vesuvius).
