Cover : Woman sitting in an easy chair reading the society pages of the Sunday newspaper, the rest is scattered around her, very cute art by John Held, Jr.

– SUNDAY EDITION (this issue is laid out inside like a newspaper, very different from other issues, and even more sarcastic and tongue-in-cheek than normal).
– Center pages are sepia tone photos “Rotogravure Section”, real photos but captions are fictions.
– Gorgeous full page color Holeproof Hosiery ad on back cover with art by C. Coles Phillips, lady in pink sitting on floor.

– This extremely funny issue is very unusual for Life magazine and is like a parody or April Fool’s edition of the news.
