(2Neat adds ... the condition of Fair magazines varies a lot according to what makes them "Fair" ... please read the condition statement for the issue before buying). Ann (CA) "Hello Brenda, Just to let you know that the 1939 Look magazine has just arrived safely and quickly and is all that I hoped it would be. It was important that I have an original copy of this edition for my research project and so I'm delighted. Thank you again for all your help! Best wishes," Russell (UK) "Hi Brenda, I wish to inform you that the book I ordered with you has arrived today 11am 22/11/12. I plan to frame it with some Willie Mays baseball cards, and hang it prominently in my man-cave. It will be awesome! Thanks," Larry (Missouri) "Just thought I would drop a note - I ordered a Look Magazine from 1946 because the movie star on the cover was a distant but certain cousin of my mother's father. The magazine arrived in about 2 days, and is in terrific condition (given its age!) and I am going to frame it and present it to my mom because she has never seen it - only thinks that it was true, now we know. Anyways, thought I would share that your service was exceptionally easy, fast, and reasonably priced. The magazine is now a family treasure, and thank you for providing this service. * * * I am very happy - thank you," "Hi Brenda, Well the package arrived today up here in Canada in absolute MINT CONDITION. :) My husband is thrilled!! Thanks very much for the prompt delivery. Have yourself a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Cheers," "Hi Brenda, Great customer service. You did a wonderful job of updating me on the status of the order. The package arrived in time and was in better condition than I expected for "Good". Even though my 85 year old grandfather received lots of tech goodies like big screen monitor, new PC and assorted peripheral devices he was most absorbed in the Life magazine from his birth week. A great old tech gift he will never forget. Thanks." "Dear Brenda, I was delighted that the shipment was waiting for me when I arrived home from work. Even with today's technology, overnight shipping is impressive. It was packaged extremely well! Thank you. And both early Life magazines (Good - Once bound) were in even better condition than I expected. It was great to find them in the acid free bags. Thanks again for the wonderful service and beautiful magazines. Regards." "Brenda - The magazine arrived and it's in beautiful condition for my mom's 90th birthday (the issue was published the day she was born)." "Hi Brenda, got my magazine this week, nicely packaged. Thanks for the prompt shipping. "Hi Brenda, The magazine arrived in good condition. Thank you. Regards," "Brenda: Received the Magazine yesterday. Love it! Your service is outstanding. I have been also looking for ... ( ) should you ever come across it. Again, I am a very pleased customer and will certainly continue shopping and searching through 2Neat. Regards," "Hello Brenda, My magazines arrived yesterday and i am extreemly happy. Your grading "Ms. Brenda, Thank you so much. The lady on the cover of the Look I ordered is my Aunt Betty. We have always had a picture of this magazine, but never the magazine its self. She also a print model, Coppertone, Sea & Ski, Kool Cigs, Pall Mall cigs (there was an ad with her in it in the July 3rd 1962 mag)(awesome). Thanks for your awesome and quick service." "Brenda Wiard - I have received the Look magazine that I ordered from you recently. I just wanted to let you know what a great seller you are. I appreciated ALL of the interim emails that you sent during the process. It gave me confidence that you had my best interest in mind concerning the sale. So many sellers tend to try to be as anonymous as possible and this can cause unnecessary anxiety in the buyer. The magazine arrived in great shape as well, letting me know that you took care in packaging it for mailing. I am a big Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor fan, so I predict that I will find something at your site again that "I cannot live without". I may have overlooked a way to leave you positive feedback as so many of the website sellers have now. But I did not want to miss the opportunity to let you know that you are doing a great job! Thank you," “Hello Brenda, Just to let you know that delivery was perfect, it was exactly what I was looking for, perfect condition. Well done. Thanks again!” “Hi Brenda, I'm so pleased by your prompt responses, the quality of your grading, and too, your generosity. "2Neat Books" is a blessing out of the blue for serious collectors of vintage "Life" and "Look" magazines. It has been a pleasure doing business with you. In fact, since shelf space permits, I'm considering extending the target years on "Look" magazine to at least include 1942. Best Wishes .....” “This has been received and is in the condition advertised. I am very excited to receive this magazine as I am in the "face of America picture therein! Thanks,” “The magazines are exactly the way you described them. They arrived at my small town post office today in time for my deadline. Thanks for the great hassle free service. “ “Brenda, We received the magazine we ordered yesterday-- thanks for getting it out so promptly. You had an accurate description of it and we are pleased with what we received-- the magazine was well represented in your photo and text description of its condition and it was shipped just as you had promised. Again, thanks. You were a big help in an upcoming birthday celebration for an in-law and I wanted to send you a note of appreciation.” “Brenda, I got the magazine in this morning's mail.....all in great shape! Very pleased with it. Thanks.” “Hi Brenda! I received the magazine today...can't even begin to tell you how thrilled I am! I plan on taking it to the family reunion in July...my husband’s aunts and uncles were the "kids" in the ad...so I can only imagine their reaction. They always knew this ad existed but have never seen the actual ad. This should be fun! Again, many thanks!” “dear sir, i would like to thank you for the great 1968 LOOK magazine about Robert Kennedy i received prestine today. looking foward to buy other related magazines from you soon. best regards from portugal,” “I received the Look Magazine with the Maharishi article. It's beautiful! I had this magazine when it first came out and lost it long ago. I'm so glad to have it again. Thank you!” “Hi Brenda, Found the Look magazine in the mail this morning: brilliant ! Nicely packed and in terrific condition. There's something about an old magazine like that. I'm happy to have found your website and hope to track down some other magazines that perhaps contain information, photos or interviews, that can bring an added yet original touch to books and personal contacts from recent years. All my best,” “Brenda, I just received my copy of Look magazine, and am more than happy with it. I am P. L.'s daughter and was so happy to find another of his illustrations in the magazine, which is in such good shape. If you ever find any magazines with his illustrations could you please let me know. He worked for Colliers in the 40's, Liberty and several others in the 40's. Thank you,” “Hi Brenda, I received the magazines today! Thanks for the nice archival sleeves! Best,” “Hello Brenda...Rec'd the Look magazine; I can't believe the condition...it looks brand new, not 44 years old!!! Absolutely amazing!!! Thanks!!” “Hi Brenda, Received magazine today... It is a 92nd BD gift for my dad and believe me he will be shocked to see it because he is in one of the pictures taken at the 500 mile Jack Pine motorcycle endurance run article in this issue. Thanks for the great service and magazine,” “Hi Brenda. Good news the Look mags have arrived and in good shape. Many thanks for your help. Since the last e-mail we have tracked down a stamp that has my father on it with the Royal family, it’s been obtained and now sits in the family history file. Once again many thanks for a excellent and caring service, we wish you every success. Regards,” “Thank you so much! The magazine arrived safely! I have been looking for this for a LONG time...This has the first ever printing of "Lassie Come Home". I have the 1st edition book, etc., but have been looking for this magazine for a number of years.... Thank you again,” “Hi, Just wanted you to know how pleased I was to receive the Look Magazine I sent for.. I have been looking for this issue for years. When I was 13 years old (I am now 76) my picture was in the magazine as one of the children in an article about education. I enjoyed looking at the issue and my adult children enjoyed it. I will treasure it. Thank you.” “Brenda - The March 23, 1954 edition of “Look” arrived today. My father-in-law was the Assistant Art Manager of the magazine. The article, “A Telephone Is Not a Toy,” featured my wife, Jane (then 5 years old), and her sisters. I’ll give the magazine to Jane on her birthday. I know she’ll be thrilled. Thanks very much for providing this important service.” “Hi Brenda, Just a short note to say that the above mag has arrived in great condition. Thank you very much. Best wishes to you and your crew.” “Thank you, Brenda. Our magazine arrived yesterday and we are very pleased with it. I have forwarded the information on to other family members. It was a nice Christmas present for us. Most of our family was here to see the magazine. “ “Hi Brenda - Just wanted to let you know I got my magazine today... It's perfect! The all pink kitchen featured in that issue is a hoot! Thanks for the speedy shipping! I appreciate everything you did to make this an easy transaction... Best Regards,” “Thank you very much for your first class service. The magazine arrived today - much more quickly than I had anticipated. I look forward to getting a few moments to enjoy it as I have not yet caught up with all my post-holiday duties! Regards,” “Received my magazine. Words can't express my thanks. This is certainly a show & tell item. I expect that'll we'll cross paths again. Again, THANK YOU.” “Got the magazine, in good condition -- esp. the pages I needed. Thanks very much!” “Hi, Brenda; The magazine arrived today in good shape. I want to thank you for your kind and courteous responses to my inquiries. It was great to refresh my memory of what was written 67 years ago concerning a tank battle in Italy in which my cousin was a participant. Thanks again.” “Hi Brenda, I just wanted to write you to tell you how pleased I am with my recent order with you. I received the 2 Parrish magazines quickly and was happy with the overall condition of each. I (also) wanted to email you to ask you if you might possibly have a copy of the famous Maxfield Parrish "Humpty Dumpty" Life cover. On your website, it looks like you sold a copy of it, but I'm hoping that you might have another copy somewhere. Could you please let me know? Thanks, and I hope to do more business with you, Best,” “I just received the Look magazine of Dec. 2, 1941, and I couldn't be more pleased!!! I thought it “Dear Brenda, “Hi Brenda -- Received Look Magazine yesterday. What a delight! You may have guessed from my initial inquiry that I'm a fan of the the old radio show The Great Gildersleeve*, and it was really a thrill to see these actors costumed and in character! I had just listened to the episode in question ("Marjorie Gets Married") last week, I think, and it referred in-show to Look coming for a photo spread -- can't believe I found a copy so quickly! Well, just casually glancing over some of your other listings I saw about $100 worth of other magazines I'd like to have -- I hate to think how much I might spend with you once I settle down and start searching -- just have to pace myself so the wife doesn't start watching the bankbook too close . . . . Anyway, thanks again, and I think I can guarantee you some future business—“ “We received the magazine and its great. Thanks so much!” “I received my Saturday Evening Post 4-1-39 and I must thank you for the very prompt delivery and the truthfulness as to its condition. Well Done!” “I have received both the LOOK magazines, thanks, and I am happy with them. I will browse through your web-site again soon. Cheers,” “Thanks, I received the mags … they are great!” “Brenda, The reason I ordered the magazine may interest you. l publish the Joni James Newsletter and am working on an issue with famous stories about Joni in magazines. The most famous is "All I've Got Is Sincerity" in Look from 1953 and I needed a new copy to scan for the issue and found it on your site in about 30 seconds. The story behind the magazine story is a comedy of errors but I am so happy to have found a copy. Joni James came into the record field with a bang in late 1952 with two solid years of multimillion-selling hit records and she continued her success for 13 years, then left to take care of her ailing husband. She is, however, right now contemplating recoding and performing again and, amazingly, she sounds the same as she did in the beginning and looks much the same today. She attributes it to not drinking, not smoking and going to Mass faithfully. Best to you,” “My package arrived today. Everything was in good order. I am totally satisfied with your service, and will recommend it as appropriate.” “Brenda, The Look magazine arrived Monday. Great picture of Cousin Golda. My cousins will be pleased. Thanks for your great service.” “Thanks Brenda, I have placed the order. I'm usually not this difficult of a customer, just first time and learning, plus emotions of seeing the article of my grand father's personality come to life in the magazine, seeing my mother as an infant, the actual stories of the way people saw him at that time, etc. Your patience and guidance through this experience has been most appreciative. "Hello Brenda: The magazine arrived safely. Thank you very much. I'm very glad to have a copy of the magazine so that I can preserve the published photograph digitally and hopefully use it in a book I'm preparing for publication. The image will be a great addition." "Hi Brenda, I wanted to let you know that my Look magazine arrived. I had it sent to my office and it was on my chair when I came in early this morning so it must have arrived Saturday, which is much sooner than I expected it. I'm very pleased with the packaging and condition of the magazine. My hairdresser is interested in an issue of Life Magazine and I will definitely send him a link to your site. Thanks," "Hi Brenda, Just to let you know that the magazine (1938) has arrived, safe and sound, and it is in as good a conditon, if not better, than your website promised. Thanks." Victor (IL) "Hello Brenda, I love your service and all the assistance you provided me ever so quickly; I am impressed. *smile* I found your site because I was looking for that specific advert and I had the details of the magazine (date, year, issue number) and so your site showed up with I did the Google search. I collect vintage vanity items (perfumes, powders boxes, girlie girl vanity items) mainly from the 20s onwards and am always on the lookout for unique vanity adverts. Thank you Brenda; I am truly impressed with YOU and the service you have provided me. Sincerely," Julianne (Canada) "Brenda, the two magazines arrived today, and again I am very pleased. Zsa Zsa and Rogers look "fantastic dahling," and Stan is the Man! Your description of the imperfections was accurate, and I was prepared for [the imperfections] to be maybe even a little more apparent than they actually are. The condition of these makes them perfect for my purposes, considering mint condition would be beyond my budget. Please drop me a line if you run across more in the future that make you think of me -- after I've had time to frame up these beauties and put aside some more spending money. " Larry (Missouri) |
